CUBAN LIFESTYLE
Cuba is more than an island. Located between the two Americas
and close to the gulf of Mexico, our country offer many natural
qualities. Its beautiful landscape, expands along 110,922 sq.km
with fine white sand beaches, colonial architecture, impressive
mountains and 4,000 "Cayos".
Cuba lies in the clear blue Caribbean Sea. Located only 180km
south of Florida and just north of Jamaica. It is the largest
island in the Antilles and stretches 1250km long and 95km wide
to 191km at the widest point.
Cuba's climate is subtropical although the island is cooled by
the gentle trade winds. With over 4000 sunlit hours per year,
our Caribbean oasis is one of the world's most popular tourist
destinations offering over 300 natural beaches with first class
hotel infrastructure.
Our Spanish-speaking country has a population of over 11 million
people, 2 million of which reside in our capital city of Havana.
Cubans possess a charm like no other Spanish people. We are always
friendly, joyful and full of life. Our culture is always on the
go. We are pro-active in our sports, music, dancing and especially
in our beer drinking.
Besides beer, Cuba hosts a variety of main products such as our
world-class tobacco, fine sugars and nickel. We are best known
for our famous "Habanos", our Salsa music, our Baseball and did
we mention the Cristal beer??
